About

Fall Out Boy/Paramore/New Politics concert, 2014

Born and raised in the Bay Area of California, Kimberly spent eight years in the Army Reserves as a combat medic after graduating high school in 1993. She then went on to receive her BS in Justice Studies at San Jose State University where she focused on social justice issues.

After her oldest graduated from high school in 2019, she left the Bay Area and moved to a farm in the small town of Kimberly, Idaho with her two kids, their black Manx cat, Jasmine, and their rescue dog, a French Bulldog named Skinny.

She is an avid reader with a wide-range of literary interests, though her favorite genres are historical non-fiction and mystery-thrillers by authors such as Dan Jones, Lisa Gardner, James Rollins, and John Sandford. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, hiking, and camping and hopes to one day visit Africa. She is also an amateur genealogist who has tentatively traced one family line back to the witch trials of the late 17th century.
